Wood & Composite Materials – Wood and composite materials like fiberglass offer good durability as well as excellent insulation properties due to their thermal mass capabilities (they retain heat better than metals). Both options tend to cost more than either glass or plastic greenhouses but they offer superior protection against extreme weather conditions such as heavy winds or snowfall that can damage weaker structures made out of flimsy materials like plastic film or thin wire mesh frames typically used in cheaper models on sale today.
